Over the weekend, the Reverend Wilbert Warren and First Lady Adline Warren celebrated 28 years at Shiloh Baptist Church. Reverend Warren has been at this church longer than any pastor has been at a church in the state of Virginia.  That’s quite an accomplishment.  If you were to ask Reverend Warren how he made it this far then he would tell you, “By the grace of God.”

It’s amazing that Reverend Warren has been at Shiloh Baptist Church almost as long as I’ve been alive.  28 years is a long time to spread God’s word but he’s still hanging in there.  Reverend Warren stated that he could not have done without the help of Mrs. Warren.

She has always been there to give that extra encouragement to help keep him going.  Whether it was just being someone that would listen or even the occasional pat on the back, he is blessed to have such a dedicated wife and help mate.

One can only wish to achieve all the things that Reverend Warren has done over his years at Shiloh Baptist Church.  Of course with God on your side anything is possible.  So happy 28th anniversary and may you have many more.  I’m so proud for this man to be not only my pastor but also a great Father.
