It’s not easy being green

I love taking pictures of people. There’s nothing like capturing someone with a great smile or seeing that gleam of light in their eyes. As often as I’m doing photo shoots of my clients I sometimes forget there’s more beauty out there just waiting to be captured! So last year I tried to make it a point to go out and shoot something other than people at least once a week for my own personal growth. I didn’t quite get out every week like I wanted to but over the year I got quite a few images that I was proud of. Periodically I’m going to share some of those images here on my blog. So my first image titled, “It’s not easy being green,” was taken in Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, VA. The water was like glass that day just a few hours before sunset. The colors were so vivid. Instantly I saw the beauty and I’m glad I was able to capture it.
